Arizona Zoo’s and Animal Parks are great family fun!
Arizona is lucky enough to have several great zoo’s and animal parks located in all areas of the state. One of our favorites is Out of Africa Wild Animal Park in Camp Verde. At a higher elevation than Phoenix and Tucson, this area is cooler in the summer and more enjoyable for outdoor adventure. Kids have the opportunity to feed and pet the giraffes and other animals. Call in advance and find out when feeding time for the lions is, You don’t want to miss this.
