Arizona Water Fun:
Arizona is the vacation state for everyone, from couples on a honeymoon or romantic getaway to families with small children, from shoppers to nature lovers. One of the most popular reasons to visit the state is to enjoy all of the water activities available, set in the natural beauty and scenery of the west. The landscape and terrain across the state of Arizona varies widely, from mountains with snow to dry deserts with beautiful flowers, and there are a large number of water activities and attractions in the state for visitors of all ages. There are many resorts which offer water parks to their guests, and there are also many fun and exciting water parks with a variety of features throughout the state that are open to the public. One great place to go is the Grand Resort's Oasis Water Park, one of the largest water parks in the country. This park includes a tower eight stories high that has three thrilling water slides attached at different levels. There is river tubing available, a giant wave pool, a hot tub which can hold twenty five people. There is also plenty of rides for kids and adults to enjoy while staying cool under the hot Arizona sun. This park is only available to resort guests, but it is well worth the cost of staying at the resort to enjoy the fun and relaxation of a day spent here.
Aquatic Activities And Natural Beauty In Arizona:
It is not necessary to stay at a resort or pay to go to a water park to enjoy the water in Arizona though. Spend the day enjoying nature at Slide Rock State Park in Oak Creek Canyon, where there is a water slide made from the natural rock and water formations, and clear fresh water is pooled to swim in. This water slide delights kids and adults alike, and the setting is just awesome, like mother nature's playground. There are miles of rivers and acres of lakes to swim in, and there is also water skiing, jet skiing, boating, and much more. Rent a Wave Runner for the day and explore Lake Powell's two thousand miles of shoreline, or rent a houseboat and spend the vacation staying on the water. There are waterfalls that can be played in and enjoyed, and so much to see and do just concerning water activities that visitors frequently run out of time and return later to explore more.
Arizona water activities make the perfect way to spend a vacation in the state. The hot dry temperature and climate make the water a very enjoyable place to be, and there are so many different ways to enjoy these activities. Cruise the two-mile stretch of Tempe Town Lake, where both motorized and non-motorized watercraft navigate the formerly dry riverbed which lies between Tempe and Phoenix. Lake Havasu offers beautiful shorelines and plenty of rental companies for boats and other watercraft, such as jet skis and wave runners, so that an enjoyable day on the water is guaranteed.
