The famous Reid Park Zoo in Tucson is haven to more than 400 different species of wildlife including rhinos, elephants, lions, polar bears, anteaters and many many more. What’s more, you have an option of adopting an animal and become a part of the “global conservation efforts”. The choo choo train, “The Reid Park Zoo Express” takes you on an adventure ride around the park. The charge for this is $2 per person, for exploring the entire park. The mission of this zoo is to offer its visitors a learning and enriching experience while making them realize the importance of conservation and protection of wild life around the world. The zoo receives the active support and services of the Tucson Zoological Society (TZS); in terms of financial resources, education and much more; while striving to protect the natural environments. The Reid Park Zoo in Tucson is administered and maintained by the City of Tucson Parks and Recreation Department. The mission of this Tucson Zoo is to provide an optimum habitat for various species of animals from all around the globe.

The Phoenix Zoo is home to more than 1200 different species of exotic wildlife. It is highly rated and a popular destination.

The Phoenix Zoo encompasses an area of 125 acres and provides world class habitat to more than 1200 different animal species from all across the globe. Besides exploring the wildlife, other fun activities within this zoo includes lake boating, bike riding, rollerblading, and the traditional 36-animal carousel as well animal encounters. The zoo is located amidst the Papago Park near Phoenix. The Phoenix Zoo is one of the largest zoological parks in the United States. The various animals are provided with their natural habitat environments. The various species include Mexican gray wolves, mountain lions, coatimundis and coyotes among others. The Phoenix Zoo is one of the most popular attractions for both kids and adults and offers the most memorable and enriching vacation.
