Things to consider when planning a bed and breakfast inn vacation.

  • What meals and/or snacks are included?
  • Are special meals available for vegetarians or those with special requirements.
  • What is the liquor policy, can you bring your own bottle to meals?
  • Are children allowed, if so, what activities are available for them?
  • Guest pet policy, does the live in owner have pets?
  • Are bathrooms private or shared?
  • Are rooms handicapped accessible?
  • Are room located up or down stairs? (We have viewed properties that require a three story climb up outside stairways)
  • Check in/out time, can a late checkout be arranged?
  • Cancellation policy, This is very important, since a bed and breakfast is usually a small operation, a late cancellation may prevent them from renting the room for the night, they must stick to a strict policy to protect themselves from a loss of income. Please check the lodgings policy carefully.
  • Is the bed and breakfast on a busy street? If so you may want a room in the rear, away from the noise.
  • What is the smoking policy? Are the live in owners smokers? If no smoking is allowed in rooms, where is it allowed?
  • What attractions, shopping or restaurants are within walking distance? Is a shuttle available?

If you are planning a vacation, why not make it special by treating yourself to a night or two in charming Arizona Bed and Breakfast or Country Inn. Its a sure way to experience Arizona's unique Southwestern Hospitality!
