Heard Museum of Native American Art and History

Getting There
Heard Museum Downtown is located at Central Avenue in Phoenix, and it can be accessed through 3rd Street and Monte Vista Road. The North location is at The Summit at N. Scottsdale Road. Lastly, the West location is located east of the Surprise Stadium. You can reach it by taking Bullard and going south to Paradise Lane. Once there, go left to reach the museum.
Things To Do at the Heard Museum
The number one thing to do at the Heard Museum is to enjoy the various exhibits. There are endless numbers of exhibits, and the exhibits are constantly changing. If you come by Arizona regularly, you will find something new at the museum with every visit. They also have the excellent Berlin Gallery, which features contemporary art displays. At the Museum, you will get a taste of art in all shapes and sizes, be it contemporary and traditional. You can also shop at the Museum Shop. Antique and art lovers will find their haven there, as the shop features authentic potteries, baskets, textiles, and the likes. Guided Tours
Guided tours are also offered at all three locations of the museum. At Downtown, there are three free tours everyday (12NN, 1:30PM, and 3PM). At the North, guided tours are only available on weekends at 1:00PM and for a fee. At the West location, schedules vary so you will need to call ahead for confirmed dates. The museum also offers tours for school trips and other groups. These are available on a by-appointment basis.

Entrance fees: Downtown - $10 adults/$5 students/$3 children ages 6-12; North - $5 adults/$2 students; West - $5 adults/$2 students. Children under 6 are free in all three locations.
Reservations: Reservations are not required for the occasional visit. However, if you are planning on bringing a large group to the Heard Museum, call in advance for an appointment.
