Kartchner Caverns State Park

Discovered in 1974, this cave remained a secret until 1988, when it was purchased by Arizona State Parks. You can only explore this colorful and amazing cave on a guided tour. Be sure to make reservations for a tour of the cave in advance, as this is a very popular park.

Lyman Lake State Park

This 1500 acre lake is at an elevation of 6000 feet. It includes fishing, hiking, camping, boat ramp, horseshoe pit, volleyball, beach, restrooms, showers and has cabins and yurts for rent.

McFarland State Park

This park includes a WW11 prisoner of war camp exhibit. The adobe brick building showcased on the site was built in 1878 and served a variety of uses, including courthouse, sheriffs office and jail.

Located at the foot of the Santa Catalina Mountains. The 4000 ft elevation provides excellent weather to explore the 15 miles of trails in this 4000 acre park. The purpose of the park is to act as a wildlife refuge and environmental learning center.

Built in 1904, this mansion which sits in the center of Flagstaff, is a interesting look at the life of the wealthy in the early days of Arizona. The home is over 13000 square feet and was shared by two families. Park includes restrooms and visitor center.
